Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sterling Silver Candleholder by Elad Lassry was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,612.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elad Lassry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collie (Roof), Pink Chair in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,821.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sterling Silver Candleholder von Elad Lassry wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.612,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elad Lassry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collie (Roof), Pink Chair im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.821,11).
