It achieved a price of EUR 3,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Egnatius Ydema; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A view of Eernwoude sold at auction in September 2011 with the realized price of EUR 4,750.00.

Die Arbeit Buiige dag, Sneekermeer: sailing on the Sneekermeer von Egnatius Ydema kam im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Egnatius Ydema; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A view of Eernwoude im September 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.750,00.
