Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 1,292.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Egnatius Ydema - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of Eernwoude, which sold at auction in September 2011 for EUR 4,750.00.

Die Arbeit A polder landscape with a farm von Egnatius Ydema kam im Januar 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.292,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Egnatius Ydema mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view of Eernwoude beobachtet, die im September 2011 für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert wurde.
