Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction I Have to Stay at Home, which included this untitled work by Danh Vō. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,258.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Danh Vō achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work VJ Star in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 842,747.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion I Have to Stay at Home durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Danh Vō zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 83.258,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Danh Vō erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit VJ Star im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 842.747,01).
