Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Christian Bérard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. In the Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session I auction, the work Portrait de René Crevel sold for EUR 3,528.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Bérard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suite de quatre toiles montées en paravent pour "La Jeune Fille endormie" in April this year with an auction result of EUR 119,700.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Bérard erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session I wurde die Arbeit Portrait de René Crevel für EUR 3.528,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Bérard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suite de quatre toiles montées en paravent pour "La Jeune Fille endormie" im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 119.700,00.
