Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chen Ke could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals auction, the work Untitled 2 changed hands for HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,265.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside the Window in March this year with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 594,816.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Ke konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals wechselte die Arbeit Untitled 2 für HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.265,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside the Window im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 594.816,04).
