Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Smackdown Vs Raw by Bharti Kher for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 60,250.73). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bharti Kher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Skin Speaks A Language Not Its Own in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,785,000.00 (€ 1,374,345.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Smackdown Vs Raw von Bharti Kher für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 60.250,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bharti Kher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Skin Speaks A Language Not Its Own im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.785.000,00 (€ 1.374.345,55).
