This artwork by Antony Gormley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2020. In the New Now auction, the work STAY 1 (MEME) II sold for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 168,903.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Gormley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Case for an Angel I in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,296,250.00 (€ 6,038,761.70).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Gormley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Case for an Angel I im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.296.250,00 (€ 6.038.761,70).
