A top price for Anne Collier
When the work Woman Crying (Comic) #16 by Anne Collier was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 25,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,509.74). This high result makes Woman Crying (Comic) #16 the most expensive artwork by Anne Collier that we have observed at auctions so far.
