Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2016 Artcurial held the auction More, which included the work Merci Gustave by André Saraiva. The price achieved of EUR 455.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Saraiva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 16,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion More durch, in der auch die Arbeit Merci Gustave von André Saraiva zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 455,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Saraiva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.900,00.
