Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art Online Sale, which included the work Enlightenment by Amani Bodo. The price achieved of GBP 3,812.50 (€ 4,422.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Amani Bodo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021 in May last year with an auction result of EUR 34,112.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Enlightenment von Amani Bodo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.812,50 (€ 4.422,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amani Bodo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.112,00.
