Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work Mujer Con Flores by Alfredo Ramos Martínez. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,169,500.00 (€ 959,078.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers of Mexico, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer Con Flores von Alfredo Ramos Martínez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.169.500,00 (€ 959.078,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32) versteigert wurde.
