Sold at the lower estimate price
In July 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Fire Escape by Alexander Rodchenko. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,246.65) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Rodchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construction No.95 in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 3,646,250.00 (€ 4,302,216.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fire Escape von Alexander Rodchenko zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.246,65) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Rodchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Construction No.95 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.646.250,00 (€ 4.302.216,51).
