Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from Söder Mälarstrand, Stockholm by Agnes Cleve was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,524.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agnes Cleve achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Vision II" (Vision II) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 740,000.00 (€ 86,061.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from Söder Mälarstrand, Stockholm von Agnes Cleve im Mai 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.524,89) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agnes Cleve erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Vision II" (Vision II) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 740.000,00 (€ 86.061,12).
