The work Helga by Aenne Biermann was sold in the Collection of Corbeau et Renard auction at Phillips in London in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,360.22), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aenne Biermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Helga 9 1/2 Jahre alt (Helga 9 1/2 years old), which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,097.18).

Die Arbeit Helga von Aenne Biermann wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Collection of Corbeau et Renard bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.360,22) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Aenne Biermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Helga 9 1/2 Jahre alt (Helga 9 1/2 years old) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.097,18) versteigert wurde.
