Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work New York #350 by Aaron Siskind was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,211.25 (€ 1,203.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Siskind achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Terrors and Pleasures of Levitation in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,007.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit New York #350 von Aaron Siskind kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.211,25 (€ 1.203,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Siskind erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Terrors and Pleasures of Levitation im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.007,98).
